I had to buy another. It didn't matter the cost it was my life line.If you are a new cook,baker, or an experienced cook or baker, or just want to make a healthy sandwich and a drink. This is the only book you will need for your library. I love the Prize Pumbkin Pie is full of luscious flavour, Lemon Meringue is the ultimate, the Butter tarts are to die for. I have had many variations of the 3 mentioned and I have had to run to the washroom on all 3. The Five Roses cookbook is by far the most superior book I have ever used. It is reliable and it is full of flavours that will be long lasting. Your company will be very impressed with all of the recipes that you may venture.  Hooray! It was the old coil-bound blue-covered book from the fifties, and we used it like crazy. This book is currently in tatters, and I was excited to find more copies online! Sadly, not coil-bound, which makes it difficult to read recipes while fluttering around in the kitchen, but aside from that it's pretty much the same thing as the old one. The few old full-page photos are black and white instead of colour, but some sections have nearly step-by-step photographs beside the instructions (ie, making bread), which I like very much and wish more cookbooks would have. Overall, I'm glad I found this. Picked up a copy for myself and another for my mom.
